The center is renowned for its job-readiness and migrant pre-departure training programs as well as award-winning training and certification for maids and cleaners, moving them from low-skilled to semi-skilled workers, enabling them to perform with excellence on their work.The center’s global work in HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness—the Save a Million Lives Project— in partnership with the USA National and Student National Medical Associations spanned over five years, facilitating the saving of millions of lives globally through its video programs.

To become a sustainable world class institution and research facility that re-educates rural Africans to enable them to fully participate in the new networked economy and to sensitize the international community, students, stakeholders and donors to rural development issues by the collaborative development of scaleable pilot projects that will effectively eradicate illiteracy, alleviate poverty and improve health and life in general especially for the poor.

The NEKOTECH-SOSJOBS4WOMEN Ghana programs for women empowerment has also led several domestic worker advocacy projects, including a music video to promote the ratification of ILO C189.

The Nekotech Center-SOS Job readiness Certification program and guidelines book encompasses an African Circular (Short Term) Labour Migration Diplomatic Strategy for Decent Work in the GCC and Middle East for African youth.

CEO & CO-FOUNDER

H.E. Rev. Dr. Princess A.K. Ocansey

An Engineering Graduate of Rutgers University, NJ-USA and a renowned Migration Expert with over 30 years’ experience, she is a member of the African Union Labour Migration Advisory Committee – which advises African Governments, representing the Diaspora African Forum. She has held consulting positions with the Ghana Ministry of Employment and Social Welfare.

The Late Nene Katey Ocansey I (Isaac Hayes)

Hayes’ role as a humanitarian began to take sharper focus in late 1991, when he and Barry White traveled to the Ivory Coast in Africa to shoot a video for “Dark & Lovely (you over there),” the single from White’s comeback album Put Me In Your Mix. The following year, Hayes and Dionne Warwick accepted an invitation by the Cultural Minister of Ghana to visit the Cape Coast and Elmina slave castles.
