SOS STEM/SPORTS WORK-STUDY MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAM
The African STEM & Sports Institute of Excellence (ASSIE) is run by the SOS-NEKOTECH Centre of excellence. It forms part of the SOS-Transfer2Transform Africa (T2T) multi-project portfolio. This program is a USA Work-Study Master’s Degree program focused on STEM/STEM designate, Sport Management/Sports Science, Healthcare, and Multi-media courses/programs in the USA.
The New Thrill
The Sports component was added in 2023 to leverage the massive job opportunities coming in the USA and Canada for the upcoming World Cup FIFA 2026 to be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. The goal of this program is to ensure the youth of Africa are fully skilled for the fast-emerging digital revolution and to leverage the growing global Sports Industry – an arena that is dear and near to the hearts of many Africans – to create new job avenues to reduce unemployment across the continent.
Additonally, the global sports events market was valued at $184.61 Billion in 2021, and it’s projected to reach $609.07 Billion by 2031 by Allied Market Research.
Evidently, African youth must be well-positioned and equipped to step into greatness! ASSIE is a STEM/Sports Mgt. or Science Master’s Degree Work-Study Preparation School to provide you with the vital information you need in order to choose the best school based on your dreams, be guided by excellent counselors who will assist you in gathering documents, applying for an educational loan as well as visa processes. You will also be trained on how to leverage and maximize your time overseas to be highly fruitful and impactful.
Who You Are
Yes, your grades were great for your first degree and you wish to continue overseas where you could have high earning power – $60,000 – $150,000/year for most STEM/Sports Mgt or Science masters graduates, but you did not know how to network and had no mentor to open the right doors for you. Once you enroll in the program, you are eligible for our loan program which gives an educational loan of up to $100,000 for the full cost of attendance – tuition, living expenses, and accommodation.
One must have a BACHELOR’S DEGREE
One must have a GPA of 3.0/4.0 and above (second class and above)
Be able to provide 1-6 Bank Statements (from friends, families, and organizations) – amounting to US$ 10,000 – US$ 15,000 for visa application only.
The program selected must be a STEM/STEM DESIGNATE/SPORTS SCIENCE/STEM HEALTHCARE/STEM MULTIMEDIA/STEM MBA
One must have an English proficiency score in DUOLINGO – 110
One must be between the ages 21-40 years

- After the Readiness Class, certified candidates go on to SOS NEKOTECH T2T MASTERS DEGREE WORK-STUDY PREP SCHOOL for 4 weeks with a 100% Prep School scholarship of $2500 and an educational loan of up to $100.000.00 for application for School in USA!
- Candidates are eligible for students loan/finance of up to $100,000 for tuition, accommodation, books, and other living expenses.
- Candidates must be willing to take courses in STEM, STEM Designated, STEM MBA, STEM Healthcare, STEM Multimedia (Journalism), and Sports Science.
- Candidates or their sponsor(s) must provide up to six (6) bank statements amounting to USD 10,000 – USD 15,000 for their visa application.
